Nicola enjoys introducing students to the study of Psychology. It equips them with the knowledge and skills to better understand how social environments and biology interplay to influence our own and others behaviour. Nicola has worked in the Middle East and the UK teaching Psychology, Sociology and PE, and is an examiner for A level Psychology. She has a BA in Social Sciences, an MSc in Sport & Exercise Psychology and a PGCE gained whilst undertaking training to be a Sport Psychologist. After teaching for a several years, Nicola spent a decade working in UK universities involved in different academic research projects. Seeking a new challenge, she returned to teaching, and is happy to now call Portugal home to her and her family.
