Nela was born and raised in South Africa. She lived in other countries before choosing the Algarve, where she has been living since 2002. Nela is definitely a people person and living in different countries, along with her easy-going personality, has given her the ability to easily adapt to new situations. Nela has worked in many different areas over the years (tourism, sales and insurance), but believes that her true passion is looking after and helping children reach their full potential as a Teaching Assistant. She has a special fondness for working with children who have additional learning needs. In her free time you'll find Nela either working out, painting or enjoying quality time with her grandchildren.
