Teaching assistant, Key stage 1 teacher
Born and raised in South Africa, Michaelle first joined AIS in 2021 as a Year 1 Facilitator. This then encouraged her to become more involved with the school and she is now one of the Assistant Teachers working to support pupils in class, particularly those with additional needs. Michaelle is currently studying part-time to obtain her TQUK Early Years Practitioner, level 2 Diploma, and is developing her understanding of young children with special needs and disabilities. She is shortly due to begin her next study: supporting EAL children. Michaelle is currently learning two new languages: Portuguese and Sign Language. Michaelle believes she has found her calling in life and feels truly blessed to be part of the AIS family.
