What do you enjoy most about teaching Year 1?
Answer:
Year 1 is such an exciting stage, as children begin to grow in independence and confidence. I love seeing their enthusiasm for learning and watching their reading, writing, and social skills develop throughout the year.
How do you create a positive learning environment for your students?
Answer:
I focus on creating a warm, supportive classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged. By using creative activities, structured routines, and plenty of encouragement, I help students build confidence and enjoy their learning.
What is your goal for your students this year?
Answer:
My goal is for each child to develop strong foundations in literacy and numeracy while also building curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning. I want them to feel proud of their progress and excited to continue their journey through school.
