Jane graduated from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh in 1997 after completing a 4-year Bachelor of Education in Physical Education. She worked in state schools in Scotland, before spending a year in Hong Kong as a sports coach. From there, Jane moved to Qatar and spent 10 years at an international school as a PE teacher, Head of PE and Head of Key Stage 3. Following a 7-year spell in France, she moved to Portugal and joined AIS. Jane believes in creating a friendly and productive learning environment, using physical education to develop life skills and a sense of physical, mental and social well-being.
