Ian studied Maths and Astrophysics before becoming a Maths teacher, then Head of Department in the UK. As a single parent, in 2018 he had the opportunity to relocate to Portugal with his daughter, and ultimately to open and grow the school of his dreams. Ian is driven by positivity, relationships and results; his goal is to encourage all the students and teachers he meets to be the best they can be. In the rare moments he isn't involved in developing the school, you will find him in the gym or trying to win a game of chess.
