Emma achieved her Bachelor of Arts in Art, Film and Theatre studies at the University of Aberystwyth. After a brief stint working as a portrait painter, she moved into a more corporate environment where she specialised in Learning and Development. Prior to taking up her role at Aspire International School, Emma worked with young and vulnerable adults as part of a community project to support students’ transition into employment. It was this experience that inspired Emma to begin teaching children. She achieved her iPGCE from Derby University and has returned to her first passion - Art. Emma enjoys all creative endeavours with her students and is passionate about experimenting with new media and methods, from drawing, painting and printmaking to sculpture, graphic design and textiles.
