Donné’s job is to provide essential support for students whose first language is not English. She offers one-on-one lessons to improve vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, and writing skills, tailored to each student's needs. In the classroom, I collaborate with teachers to give real-time support, helping students understand the curriculum and participate actively. A key part of my role is building strong relationships with students and fostering a supportive and trusting environment. My efforts empower students with the language skills necessary for academic success and personal growth. I truly love and appreciate that as a school A.I.S. makes this an uncomplicated role with their flexible and free approach to working with students. This year I am also enjoying my new role as Year 10 tutor.
