Daniela teaches Biology and General Science at Aspire International School and is also a Year 7 tutor, supporting students as they make the important transition into secondary education. What do you enjoy most about teaching Science and Biology?
Answer:
I enjoy helping students understand how science connects to the world around them. Seeing their curiosity grow as they discover how things work, from the human body to the natural environment, is incredibly rewarding.
How do you make Science engaging for Year 7 students?
Answer:
I use practical experiments, real world examples, and lots of questions to encourage curiosity. Year 7 is an important stage where students begin to develop confidence in scientific thinking, so I focus on making lessons interactive and enjoyable.
What is your goal as a Year 7 Tutor?
Answer:
My goal is to support students as they settle into secondary school, helping them build confidence, independence, and good learning habits. I want them to feel supported, motivated, and excited about their learning journey.
