AIS Inter-House Cross Country Returns – Monday 12th May 2025

Get ready to lace up your trainers and cheer on our young athletes – it’s time for the annual AIS Inter-House Cross Country Meet!

Following the fantastic success of last year’s event, this year promises even more excitement, friendly competition, and community spirit. Taking place on Monday 12th May 2025, this whole-school event will see students from Nursery to Year 13 take part in a fun-filled afternoon of races – with a special appearance by our most enthusiastic competitors: the parents!

🏡 House Spirit in Action

Each participant earns 10 points for their House, with additional points awarded for race winners. Whether your child is a seasoned runner or just running for fun, everyone is encouraged to join in and show their House pride!

📅 Schedule of Events:

13:35 – Whole School Fun Run (10 points per participant)
13:50 – Year 10+
14:15 – Nursery & Reception
14:20 – Years 1 & 2
14:30 – Years 3 & 4
14:45 – Years 5 & 6
15:00 – Years 7, 8 & 9
15:20 – Parents Race!
15:30 – Results Announcement

This year’s schedule has been adjusted to allow older students time to return to their studies as exam season approaches.

What to Bring:

Sports shoes and House colours
Plenty of water
A little extra food/snacks to keep energy levels high

Whether you’re racing or supporting from the sidelines, this is always one of the most energetic and heartwarming events in the AIS calendar.

We can’t wait to see the entire school community come together for a great afternoon of running, teamwork, and celebration. Good luck to all our Houses – and see you on the start line!
