Aspire Beach Clean-Up: Learning Through Action

At Aspire International School, we believe real-world learning builds real-world impact. That’s why we’re thrilled to take part in the Spring Beach Clean-Up 2025, organised by Infralobo E.M. with the support of Loulé City Council.

On 20 May, over 130 students and 19 staff from Preschool through to Secondary will head to Garrão Poente and Garrão Nascente Beaches for a morning of meaningful environmental action — and we’re inviting parents to join us!

Why We’re Taking Part

This initiative gives our students the chance to:

Actively contribute to protecting our local environment
Learn the value of teamwork and active citizenship
Put classroom learning into practice in the real world

From ages 3 to 13, every Aspire learner will be suited up in school PE shirts, guided by trained staff, and equipped with:

Eco-cleaning kits (gloves, bags, hats)
Water, snacks, and fresh fruit

Transport & Schedule

Transport is generously provided by Loulé City Council. We’ll depart from school at 08:45 and return around 12:45. Students will be supervised at all times, with extra care provided for our youngest learners.

This isn’t just a field trip — it’s an experience that builds awareness, empathy, and community spirit. Together, we can make a lasting impact on our beaches and our children’s futures.
