Rita Pereira Q&A
What do you enjoy most about teaching Year 5 and Year 6?
Answer:
I enjoy helping students at this important stage of their development, as they become more independent learners and begin to take greater responsibility for their work. It’s rewarding to see their confidence grow as they prepare for the next step in their education.
How do you support students as they prepare for secondary school?
Answer:
I encourage students to develop strong organisational skills, resilience, and a positive attitude towards challenges. By creating a structured but supportive environment, I help them build the academic and personal skills they will need to thrive in secondary school and beyond.
What is your teaching philosophy?
Answer:
I believe every child has the ability to succeed when they feel supported and motivated. My aim is to create engaging lessons that challenge students while also helping them feel confident, capable, and proud of their achievements.
